TrainSignal has been a presence at TechEd for several years, but this year, I had the opportunity to travel with the TS crew at not only my first TechEd, but my first IT conference. I started at TrainSignal in February and as a Communication Arts major, I am still becoming accustomed to the IT industry. Coming to TechEd gave me a huge look into the IT community and an even better appreciation for the “TrainSignal world.”
As a Product Development Specialist here at TrainSignal, I was sent to TechEd to shoot interviews with various industry professionals, TechEd speakers and experts. Getting to interact with a lot of the experts I have heard about and whose training I have listened to was pretty awesome. When I wasn’t running around shooting and editing interviews while in Orlando, I did get a chance to attend the keynote presentations, a Women in Technology luncheon, a session presented by our very own instructor J. Peter Bruzzese, and many more events that have made me even more excited to learn and research IT on my own.
Before heading to TechEd, I also heard of all the social events that go on after the long days of hard work and surely wasn’t disappointed. I had some great bonding time with my fellow colleagues while meeting tons of other great people at TechEd. We even got the TS crew to go for a spin on a pretty cool bike-taxi followed by an all-out karaoke session one of the nights.
